Abstract
The present study refers to the regime of maximum water runoffs applicable to the streams that discharge to the Rio Grande/Rio Bravo, originating from the Sierra de Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. The study sets up the maximum discharges and its corresponding hydrographs for return periods, from two to 100 years. The objective of this document is to integrate the Geographical Information System (GIS) and the prediction water runoff model WIN TR-55 to help in the making decisions process by viewing techniques and the results analysis of the model. A secondary objective of this study is to provide reliable information for preserving and improving the hydro ecological functions and aesthetic of the landscape of the urban zone of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
