The Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) consists of over 90 member universities and organizations throughout the world. UCOWR's main objectives are to facilitate water-related education, promote research, and compile and disseminate information on water problems and solutions. UCOWR also publishes the Journal of Contemporary Water Research and Education, and holds an annual conference.
