This handbook was a part of the Southern Illinois State Normal University (SINU) exhibit at the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago, Illinois, formally called the World’s Columbian Exposition. It documents the curriculum, programs, and faculty of the university at that time, as well as the training school curriculum. The majority of SINU’s exhibit consisted of academic books showcasing the classroom work of the grade school students enrolled in SINU’s training school.
