Abstract
Let Me Hold the Body of the Boy is a tender, narrative collection of poetry that reimagines the bildungsroman, asking what it means to come-of-age as a transgender person today. When confronted with a world that constantly threatens survival, this collection responds by holding on; to parts of the self, to memory, to community, to history.
