Abstract
The Main goal of this thesis is to explore the application of block chain technology network for managing the smart contract transactions in the smart grid. I propose an architectural layout where all the entities that are involved in the smart grid acts as nodes and all the Specific transactions have been formulated in the form of a valid smart contract. At the end I will point out how a smart contract can be used to enable transactions between consumer and producer.
