Abstract

The study was a month-long diet change focused on increasing omega-3 fatty acids and decreasing omega-6 fatty acids. This was done by using a Mediterranean style of eating focusing on fish, fruits, and vegetables. At the end of the diet, I lost 19 lbs, had a 2% decrease in body fat, a 2% increase in muscle, and a 7 beats per minute reduction in my heart rate.
