Abstract
In this thesis, we present the design and implementation of a general purpose framework for ambient intelligence (AmI) environments. We have integrated mobile agent technology to implement the prototype for the proposed AmI framework. Special software called NetLogo, a multi-agent programming language and integrated modeling environment, is used to implement the current framework. The main concerns to develop this framework are to optimize the cost of the communication, to get better balancing of the network load and to improve the performance of a system.
