Abstract
These stories, though comprised of various styles and subjects, seek to interrogate the shifting, socially constructed dimensions of personhood, with an emphasis on the influence of media on self-image. Each section presents a unique scenario, whether set in the rural Midwest or a Los Angeles skyscraper, to explore the often messy, intertwined realities of friendship, betrayal, and justice.
