Abstract

This novel, told through both prose and found documents, follows the lives of Olivia Hughes and her daughter, Penelope, as they struggle to be freed from a lifetime contract that forces them to star on a live action sitcom for their entire lives. It explores notions of autonomy, parental love, media scrutiny, and the ways that women are used and abused by systems of power.
