Abstract
The March Funeral is a gothic novel set in an alternate 1931, examining class, gender, and power in the context of a nation that has been at war for decades. A war profiteer with a mysterious old wound invites a handful of associates to his estate, only to be killed by one of them. His death sets off something larger than any of them could have imagined, and in the fallout, they are forced to reckon with just how far one may go to maintain a legacy, and how costly that endeavor truly is.
