Abstract
Bleed American follows aging punk-singer-turned-drug-mule Micah as he makes a desperate last bid at fame. Blending prose and comics, the novel criss-crosses America’s dive bars and DIY houses in a story that’s alternately thrilling and contemplative. A Visit from the Goon Squad meets Green Room in a beer-soaked odyssey.
