Abstract
The present study evaluated the effects of a Mindfulness session on the program outcomes of a hybrid parenting training program. The program began as hybrid parent training program and switched to a full telehealth model at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The parenting training program was for parents of children with autism. The results showed that parents who participated in the mindfulness session had more success in the program than those who we’re not exposed to the brief mindfulness training. These results suggest that mindfulness can be effective in increasing positive performance in parents of children with autism.
