Abstract

This paper explores the author’s hybrid cultural identity in terms of foodways. Autoethnography is used as the method to discuss the paternal—Latino, and maternal—White, foodways that the author has inherited. The author discusses how these foodways constitute his hybrid cultural identity as neither Latino nor White, yet both Latino and White simultaneously.
