Abstract
Many universities struggle with student engagement on their campuses. The word “engagement” covers a broad spectrum of involvement and could be anything from attending events or programs, recreational activities at the student union, participating in contests, being a part of Greek life or registered student organizations, to following campus departments on social media or having a student job. Because involvement plays such a significant role in the overall university experience, it is vital to understand the needs of the current student population, market correctly, and encourage experiences outside of the classroom that will enhance students’ education and cultivate a well-rounded individual.
