MAJOR PROFESSOR: D. Shane Koch, Ph D., CRC
The Persian Gulf War, Afghanistan, and Iraq Enduring Freedom are wars
our United States troops have been involved in the Middle East. The goal of
this research paper is to present and discuss the injuries and illness some of our
soldiers are experiencing in their tour of duty in the Middle East. I will focus on three
conditions some of our veterans are suffering from, Gulf War Illness(GWI), Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Diagnosis and
treatment of PTSD, TBI, and GWI will be discussed.
