Abstract
Presentation slides from the Fall 2018 Illinois College Automotive Instructors Conference held at Lewis & Clark College in Godfrey Illinois. The presentation was to encourage the delivery of biodiesel curriculum in the classroom. Information includes basic biodiesel facts, benefits and problems, collecting oil, building an appleseed style processor, transesterification, titration of WVO, completion testing, washing and drying biodiesel, usage of fuel in vehicles, fuel gelling, material compatibility, and costs. Includes links to video demonstrations of the home biodiesel manufacturing process as well as photos of processes and components. Links for additional information included at the end.
