Aims & Scope
Kinesis is prepared by the graduate students in the Department of Philosophy, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Kinesis believes that the philosophical work of graduate students constitutes a substantial contribution to the debate on contemporary philosophical and socio-political issues. Kinesis was founded to offer a forum to graduate students in all fields to express their philosophical views in a critical yet open-ended context. We believe that when creative thought renders explicit the relation between philosophical concepts and contemporary problems, basic philosophical ideas are alive and working.
