Abstract
This Undergraduate Thesis enters the scholarly conversation regarding William Blake and psychoanalytic theory. This work provides a reading of Blake's Songs of Innocence and of Experience from the viewing of psychoanalysis. Jungian and Freudian theories of psychoanalysis are mostly used with incorporation of Lacan as well. Overall, this Undergraduate Thesis provides a look at Blake's works psychoanalytically and provides interpretation of them through this specific lens.
