Abstract
Diagnosing a vehicle usually starts with testing for power, and on most vehicles the power will be controlled by the ignition switch. However, this is starting to change with the new ignition switches. Most ignition switches are now just inputs to some computer rather than the traditional switch that would open or close a circuit.
