Abstract
The purpose of this music document is to provide scholarly program notes to accompany the Graduate Recital of Timothy Fitzgerald, which took place March 7,2012. Program notes for Robert Schumann’s Three Romances for clarinet and piano (1849), Franz Xaver Pokorny’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra in E-flat Major (1765), André Messager’s Solo de Concours (1899), Timothy Fitzgerald’s new indeterminate game piece Qwaggles (2012), and King Friday (1997) by Michael Lowenstern are included.
