Abstract
In any organization, when times are tough, there is a natural tendency for people to find someone, or something, to blame. I used to work with a fellow who taught juniors in the program. He always complained about the quality of the work of his students, and claimed that the students were not prepared for what he was asking them to do. He blamed the faculty who taught in the freshman and sophomore years as well as the students themselves.
