Abstract
Proxy 6 is a novel that follows a clairvoyant CIA assassin in the early 1970s. Proxy 6 tries to let the past die until he learns that one of his targets, an Army sergeant he encountered in Vietnam, is alive and well. Needing to see it for himself, he ends up in a small Illinois town where he’s forced to look at life in ways he’d never been able to before.
