Abstract
Feedback is commonly used to increase and maintain employee performance. Although the effectiveness of feedback is frequently studied in applied behavior analysis (ABA), there are various considerations when it comes to providing feedback, such as the type of feedback, delivery method, and timing of feedback. For instance, although the feedback sandwich is commonly used, where positive feedback is delivered followed by corrective feedback and more positive feedback, empirical findings are mixed (Henley & DiGennaro Reed 2015; Parkes et. al., 2013). Therefore, the current paper will review ABA, organizational behavior management, the role of feedback in the aforementioned areas, and provide recommendations and discuss implications for practice.
