David Galat, University of Missouri - Columbia

David Galat received his undergraduate degree in Natural Resources from Cornell University and Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in aquatic ecology from Colorado State University. He currently serves as Science Advisor to The Nature Conservancy’s Great Rivers Partnership. From 1988 to 2010 Dr. Galat was a Research Fisheries Biologist at the U. S. Geological Survey’s Missouri Cooperative Research Unit and Cooperative Associate Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences, University of Missouri. He remains on the faculty at the University of Missouri as an Adjunct Associate Professor.
