Abstract
This thesis presents the written documentation and evaluation of the costume design of Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s production of Peter Brook’s adaptation of La Tragédie de Carmen. Chapter One is an analysis of the piece. The second chapter discusses the design process. Chapter Three discusses the build, and the final chapter is an evaluation of the process of the production. The appendices of the document include images, paperwork, renderings, and production photos.
