Abstract

Online file sharing is a prominent and important day to day activity, this increase in usage of social media, calls for a reliable and trustworthy network. In a distributed networking environment like Peer-to-Peer network, there are a million users who are sharing files as this second passes. Social capital on the other hand is a value that is achieved by multiple factors like power, relations and trust, being the most prominent of all. The network consists of various types of users and we are focusing towards making it secure in terms of privacy and reduction in malware by using certain principles like recommender systems and social capital.
