Aims & Scope

It is the goal of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal to produce scholarly publications of the highest quality attainable. It is the belief of this Journal that all members of society hold the potential for contributing to this goal. In recognition of the value of such contributions, the Southern Illinois University Law Journal considers all articles submitted for publication without reference to the author's race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, or nation of origin. This policy is in effect for all Southern Illinois University Law Journal activities and it is the hope of this Journal that the policy expressed here should prevail in all human endeavors.
